IBG Jordan Commenced Operations in 2007. It has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Al Dulayl Industrial Area. Two manufacturing units are based on conventional Line set up and the other one stand up type modules with auto Gerber Movement which is ideally suited short lead time sewing for high quality formal bottom wear / trousers. It is employing 1300 expatriate employees from Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh & China. IBG Jordan has a business turnover of USD 36 million (2009) Per annum. The products it specializes in is woven ladies trousers and knits. IBG Jordan has a manufacturing capacity of 500 thousand pieces of trousers per month.
In the entire Middle East region we are the only maker with modular sewing system.
IBG Jordan was part of the Golden list and added as the 42nd company in the year. This was awarded in the year 2009. The program is initiated by the Ministry of Labour Law & International Standards.
The Golden List program is considered as one of the pilot programs using modern methods in customs work, where it depends on the principles of risk management and due diligence with the customs requirements and international security standards. According to this, the Program Customs Department applies compliance auditing techniques in order to verify the compliance of Jordanian companies which are nominated for the Program, and to evaluate their compliance with customs requirements and approved international security criteria, through performing actual auditing on the work systems and the processes related to customs declarations, import, export systems, as well as verifying the applied security systems in the company corroborate if they are in harmony with the approved criteria and conditions of this Program. This is done through a continuous coordination and consultation process.
